... just this guy.. ok, quiet guy. Or maybe quiet, shy, somewhat geeky guy?
Yes, i'm just your average currently 46 year old guy living in Northwest Arkansas. Been here 18 years now. Hard to believe huh? Where does time go.. better yet been with the Company (Walmart) for 20 of those years. Wait... 18 - 20 = - 2.. hmmm oh, ya, started two years before getting to the home of Walmart in my, yes, favorite state, Michigan. Sorry all my AR friends, MI is my favorite state, what I call "home". Though my favorite City is Chicago. But I think I got off track.
I am a quiet guy and if you know me you know that true. Bit on the shy side too. Maybe more than a bit. :)
Anyway, a bit about Me .... here goes..
I was born in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. We, my Mom (Sue) and Dad (John) lived in small town 16 miles south west of the Sault in Brimley. I have one brother, but not sure where he was actually born. I was only two at the time. Dad was in Retail and we moved around a bit. To my recollection it was Brimley, to Ishpeming (sp?) MI, O'Clare WI, Omaha NB, Salina KS, Country Club Hills IL, then back to Brimley. I was in 8th grade when we got back to Brimley. Dad went to Texas, and my brother, Ray joined him about two years later I think.
Anyway, Brimley is where I went through High school, graduated in 1985. Then on to Michigan Technological University in Houghton MI for collage. Got my BA in Computer Science, worked as an Assistant Manager for Walmart for two years before getting down here to AR. Market was tough when I got out, had to take job I could get while looking for work in my field. Walmart ISD got me first and hear I am. Will be 20 Years this December.
So, I have a Brother that lives near Chicago, and two sisters, the older of which is now Married and living in MI, the younger is in Collage at Perdue. and if i'm wrong about any of that I'll probably get slapped.
Lets see.. anything else of interest.. I'm single. and sorry ladies, i'm gay, so Men to the front of the line... but that "quiet" part along with the "shy" part has contributed to that "single" part... Ho hum...
Some things I like are:
- Reading (mostly sci-fi)
- movies
- my dog (Butch)
- doing stuff around the house
- working out
- bike riding (live riding along lakeshore drive in Chicago)
- messing with the computer
- scuba diving
Ok thats enough for now... anything you want to know, or think I should add.. drop me an email or comment.. or what every I have set up..
